Transfer Chute
Design and Evaluation
CDI designs, models, and improves upon all types of transfer chutes for different materials properties and manufacturing situations including bins, feeders, hoppers, hoods, spoons, gates, and bifurcated designs. No matter whether your material is being fed onto a conveyor or stockpile, or into a crusher or mill, CDI can design a chute to meet your needs.
Chute Design and Review
Our chutes are optimized for material centering, dust control, and reduced liner wear, and take into consideration belt power, belt wear, and overall maintenance issues.
Chute Modeling and Analysis
CDI also models and analyzes chute designs using ROCKY Discrete Element Modeling (DEM) software, which simulates granular flow in the conveyor chute system. ROCKY helps CDI identify potential issues with blocking, spillage, product degradation, dust, belt tracking, and liner wear, enabling us to engineer an even more efficient product.
