Our Comminution Technology (CT) division developed means
of analyzing, identifying, and improving ore comminution
in the mineral processing circuit from blasting, block
caving, and crushing through milling and classifying ore.
Special developments include 3-D discrete element method
(DEM: granular material), metal wear modeling, population
balance modeling (PBM), and mill circuit statistical analysis.
Many of the world's largest mills are being aided by these
tools to improve comminution efficiency, save power, and
extend life.
News:
The mineral processing portion of Comminution Technology
has been sold to Metso
Minerals.
